In addition to this main memorial at Kincumber via Carrack Road, a number of individual memorials have been installed and we are planning to erect more individual memorials dedicated to the memory of individual shipbuilders. These individual memorials are located adjacent to the existing 2 km cycleway / pathways and on Davistown waterfront reserve and plans are for these to be added to in the future.
The history of this period of shipbuilding is very well documented in Gwen Dundon’s book “The Shipbuilders of Brisbane Water NSW” (National Library of Australia ISBN O 646 28082)

The Putt Putt Regatta will be a project of Kincumber Rotary in 2025. Our members along with Kariong/Somersby Rotary were involved with the Regatta this year 2024 to "shadow" the long term organisers of this event to learn how to run this event and next year we will take over the organisation of it, with the help of Kariong/Somersby and some of the previous organisers of this event will continue to organise some aspects of it.
